Babar Azam has turned a year older and is celebrating his 28th birthday today (October 15). The Pakistan captain took over as the all-format leader in November 2020 and has captained his team to greater heights. Babar was a born leader and captained his side in the 2012 U-19 World Cup as well.
 
He is one of the most complete batsmen in present times and is often compared to Virat Kohli. Babar is highly consistent in all three formats and has his task cut out on the batting and captaincy front in the next decade. On the occasion of Babar Azam's birthday.

Babar Azam owns one of the rare records for making his Test match debut in a pink-ball Test match. The day-night Test matches are not regular fixtures and back in 2016, Babar joined a unique list when he made his debut in the opening Test match of the series against West Indies. He scored 69 in the first innings and 21 in the 2nd innings as Pakistan defeated West Indies by 56 runs.
