AD Khawaja resigns as chairman of Export Processing Zones Authority
Export Processing Zones Authority Chairman AD Khawaja resigned from his office on Wednesday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Khawaja has sent his resignation to the Establishment Division secretary and secretary to the Ministry of Industries and Production.
He wrote, "I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Chairman EPZA. I am stepping down from the post due to personal and professional reasons. I appreciate the hard work and commitment of the EPZA team. I am hopeful that the institution will continue to play a key role in the development of the national economy."
Khawaja also thanked the Ministry of Industries and Production and other relevant authorities for their cooperation.
