Cabinet Division releases six-month record of Toshakhana gifts

The cabinet division on Monday released the record of the gifts received by senior military and government officials from January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The record showed that those who received gifts were Field Marshal Asim Munir, the air chief, the naval chief, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

The record also showed that Chief of General Staff Syed Amir Raza, Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, NAB Chairman Lt General (r) Nazir Ahmad, the minister for commerce, secretary commerce, Zain Asim, Usman Bajwa, Tariq Fatemi, Wahab Riaz, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Malik Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Riffat Mukhtar Raja.

Most of items were gifted by senior foreign government officials.

Besides that, the chief justice of Pakistan gifted a shield to the prime minister, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Langrial also gifted a shield to the prime minister. 

The things and objects gifted were decoration pieces, watches, electric cars, ready-made carpets, bed sheets, prayer mats, table cloths, coffee sets, tea sets and ties.    

All these gifts were deposited in the Toshakhana.

The Cabinet Division is estimating the cost of the gifts received.
