PM Shehbaz rewards FIA officials busting Jajja gang of human smugglers

Stressing the need for the eradication of the scourge of human smuggling, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said that nothing could be crueler to a human being than this act, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials in Islamabad, he praised them for arresting members of the Jajja gang. “Your achievement deserves appreciation,” the prime minister said.
He further said that eliminating human smuggling was a topmost priority for the government. “Those involved in this crime have maligned the country abroad,” he added.
PM Shehbaz, on the occasion, handed a cheque of Rs1 million to each FIA and IB official.
