Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has summoned an assembly session on April 28, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The session will start at 11:30 am, according to Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi.

Earlier addressing the joint meeting of the parliamentary party of coalition partners, Parvez said a bogus, unconstitutional, and controversial election was held yesterday and the Punjab governor and advocate general have already declared that polling controversial.

He stressed: “This is a constitutional issue and cannot be acknowledged until a clear situation arises. The deeds of PML-N proved that they have not given up their bad habits.

“In the past, the courts were attacked and in the present, the Punjab Assembly comes under attack. What happened yesterday has never happened in the history of the parliament.”

He added that police came as if they had to attack the dacoits

The Punjab Assembly speaker said it all happened with the backing of Hamza Shehbaz

The target was to scare PTI and PML-Q MPAs out of the house so that they could not joint polling for CM voting, he added.

The deputy speaker held elections standing in the gallery which has no constitutional status: Chaudhry Parvez Elahi

Anyone can hold an election by holding a megaphone in the gallery of guests, he said adding that sitting in a strange place, a stranger conducted an election

He questioned what kind of election this was when one of the candidates was absent after being sustained serious injuries.

He said his voters were blocked by police. He said a meeting of constitutional experts is being convened to challenge this election.

He expressed gratitude to MPAs, especially woman lawmakers, for standing by him.
