The inquiry report into deaths caused by oxygen shortage in Khyber Teaching Hospital is in limbo despite the KP chief minister’s strict orders for timely completion of the probe, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The TV channel reported that the Khyber Teaching Hospital inquiry report could not be completed despite the orders of the Chief Minister.
The suspended director of KTH rejected the Inquiry Committee and the fact-finding report.
The former director of KTH sent a letter of complaint to the Board of Governors and termed the fact-finding report ‘one-sided’ and said a conspiracy has been hatched against him.
The Chairman of the Inquiry Committee himself was dismissed from the post of Medical Director in a case in January 2019, former director of KTH said in the complaint letter.
“I was the chairman of an inquiry committee constituted a year ago to probe a case and fired the incumbent committee chairman,” he added.
