Army Chief, Czech envoy discuss Afghan situation 

Gen Bajwa says Pakistan values its relations with EU countries

Ambassador Czech Republic to Pakistan Tomas Smetanka on Friday called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the press release of ISPR, both the leaders discussed matters of mutual interests, regional security, current situation in Afghanistan and measures for collaboration in extending direly needed humanitarian assistance to Afghans.

COAS Gen Bajwa said that Pakistan valued its relations with the EU countries and ‘we earnestly look forward to enhance mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests’.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s role in Afghan situation, efforts for regional stability and pledged to play his part for further improvement in the diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
