Customs Enforcement Quetta seizes smuggled goods worth Rs 515m
Customs Enforcement Quetta carried out successful intelligence-based operations in Mastung and Nani Khwa, seizing smuggled goods worth Rs515.3 million, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) said on Saturday.
According to the FBR, the operations led to the recovery of charas (hashish), smuggled cigarettes, China salt, and various electronic items, dealing a major blow to smuggling networks operating in the region.
The FBR said anti-smuggling operations are continuing across the country, with Customs playing a key role in curbing illegal trade and protecting the national economy.
The department added that law enforcement agencies in Balochistan provided full support, contributing to the success of the crackdown.
