The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has become the first airline in the region that has completed the vaccination process of its staffers including the entire crew of air and ground operations, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Pakistan’s national airline has completed inoculation of its crew including pilots stationed in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arshad Malik said that the national carrier is committed to the safety of its passengers and staffers.

“We have become the first Pakistani airline to have vaccinated our entire frontline staff and crew,” Arshad Malik said.

“All PIA passengers were saved from the coronavirus,” he added.
