Pakistan, China vow to boost counter-terrorism, security cooperation
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong calls on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad on Monday and discussed with him bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Chinese Ambassador condemned the suicide bombing in Islamabad, expressing condolences for the loss of precious lives.
Mohsin Naqvi and Chinese envoy agreed to further strengthen counter-terrorism and security cooperation.
Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan-China relations are based on mutual trust and respect. He said China is a trusted friend, which has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times.
The Chinese Ambassador said his country will continue to maintain full cooperation with Pakistan.
