PSX registers 638 points decline

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) registered decline on Friday as PSX 100 Index closed at 163806, down 638 points, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The highest level during the session was 165030 points. As many as 483 companies transacted their shares in the stock market; of these, 166 recorded gains, 277 sustained losses, and 40 remained unchanged. 

More than 1 billion 96 crore shares worth more than 36 billion rupees were traded. On Thursday 100 Index had closed at 164,444 the previous day.
