Says joint session has buried NRO forever
Speaking in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rasheed said Pakistan has buried National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) forever.
The minister alleged that PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif does not have the courage to go to jails and he is still looking for NRO but yesterday in parliament Pakistan has buried the NRO forever. “The opposition will do nothing but rally,” he added.
FATF amendments that were passed by the parliament are actually the government's victory, Sheikh Rashid said and added the Opposition opposed the sensitive bills relating to Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
Sheikh Rashid said he met PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was addressing a gathering on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of the Emergency Block at Islamic International Medical College Trust Pakistan Railway, Rawalpindi. He said the hospital model is on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis.
The carriage factory will be built by the International University China, he added.
