FIA foils attempt to travel abroad on fake visas at Sialkot Airport
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Gujranwala foiled an attempt to travel abroad on fake visas, offloading two passengers at Sialkot International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the passengers — identified as Majeed Din and Muhammad Waseem — were scheduled to depart for Albania on flight FZ316. During immigration clearance, officials found their visas suspicious.
Upon verification, the Albanian visas pasted in their passports were confirmed to be fake. Both passengers were offloaded and handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Gujranwala for further investigation.
The FIA reiterated its commitment to continue strict action against human trafficking and those attempting to travel on forged documents.
