PCB says final decision on Asia Cup still pending

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clarified that it has not yet reached a final decision regarding Pakistan’s participation in the Asia Cup, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

PCB spokesperson Aamir Mir said that consultations are still in progress and a conclusive decision is expected by tomorrow (Wednesday).

He emphasized that any step taken by the board will be made in light of Pakistan’s best interests and with careful consideration of all related factors.

The uncertainty surrounding Pakistan’s position had fueled speculation about possible outcomes, but the spokesperson reassured that clarity would emerge soon.

“The decision will be made keeping in view Pakistan’s interests,” he stated.
