Sheikh Rasheed’s emotional plea for nephew’s release 

Former federal minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has made an emotional appeal to show leniency towards his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media outside an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rasheed revealed that the father of Rashid Shafiq is in critical condition.
“Rashid Shafiq could not attend his mother's funeral. And now his father is ill," he added.
 “Ten-year imprisonments over trivial matters are unjust.” 
He took a swipe at the rulers for what he called their failure to control inflation.
He rapped the rulers for leaving flood victims in the lurch. 
The former minister said his nephew ‘has never even visited Faisalabad’.
