Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi filed a petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Hafiz Rizwan on Monday, seeking a court order for the SHO Qila Gujjar Singh to register the case on his complaint against Punjab Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Mashhood, police personnel and others for resorting to hooliganism at the PA premises and beating him up on the day of election of the new CM, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.    

The application, filed through Amir Saeed Rawn Advocate, read that it had been 48 hours now since the complainant went to the police station for registration of the case, but the SHO was still to register it.  Reporter: Shaheen Atiq
