The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has launched the Global Disaster Early Warning Application to provide timely, reliable, and life-saving alerts related to national disasters, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Saturday.

The application helps individuals, communities, and authorities stay informed and prepared by delivering early warnings, safety guidance, and real-time updates.

The purpose of launching this application is to reduce loss of life and property by ensuring that critical information reaches users before, during, and after the disaster.

Alerts will enable the people and responders to promptly implement the disaster management plans keeping them ahead of crises before they strike.

The consumer will also get guidance on safety measures and preparedness steps before a disaster occurs. The application is designed to support alerts at local, national, and global levels.

The App may use location data (if permitted) to provide relevant alerts. The consumer can upload the App from the Google Play Store.
