Lahore Police latest report revealed the names of the persons who processed the most number of arms licenses in metropolis Lahore. Police launched a crackdown against thugs, proclaimed officers and land grabbers and sent their National Identity Cards (NICs) cards to Nadra to get an arms license record.

It has been revealed that no other person in Lahore contains more weapon licenses other than the Teefi Butt (18 licenses) and his son Wasif Butt (21 licenses) as both got record of 39 arms licenses.

Police have sent the details of arms licenses of Teefi Butt and his son Deputy Commissioner office for cancellation.

Reportedly, last month police launched a crackdown on thugs, proclaimed officers and land grabbers to eliminate networks of the city’s top ‘underworld dons’.

The teams arrested a total of 260 hardcore criminals including proclaimed and targeted offenders as well as absconders within two days besides registering 138 FIRs against them.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mehmood Dogar had circulated the updated list of thugs, goons and proclaimed offenders to all the divisional SPs with a direction to initiate an operation against them to bring down the crime rate in the city.

He had appointed Lahore Investigation SSP Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani as a focal person to supervise the crackdown.
