ICC unveils star-studded commentary panel for Champions Trophy

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the commentary panel for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, set to begin on February 19 (tomorrow) in Pakistan and the UAE.

The panel features a blend of cricketing legends, and renowned commentators from around the world. 

Pakistan's former cricketers and well-known analysts, Ramiz Raja, Wasim Akram, and Bazid Khan, have been included in the panel, bringing local expertise and insights to the tournament. 

Alongside them, legendary figures such as Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop will also provide their analysis and in-depth coverage of the matches.

Adding further prestige to the panel, former Indian cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri will join the lineup, along with Australian greats Aaron Finch and Matthew Hayden. 

Renowned commentators Mel Jones and Simon Doull will also be part of the expert team.

 Harsha Bhogle, widely regarded as one of the finest cricket analysts, will be joined by Michael Atherton, Pommie Mbangwa, and Kass Naidoo. 

The inclusion of former fast bowler Dale Steyn, ex-Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik, former South African all-rounder Shaun Pollock, and Bangladesh’s Athar Ali Khan further enhances the panel’s depth. 

New Zealand's Katie Martin and England’s Mark Nicholas will also contribute to the commentary, offering a broad perspective on the action.
