LHC orders ATC to rehear 26 Nov incident cases

The Lahore High Court’s division bench has remanded all cases related to the 26 November incidents for rehearing, directing the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) to reexamine the cases from scratch, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The division bench, comprising Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan and Justice Sadiq Mehmood Khurram, issued the order on Tuesday while hearing the case.

As per the decision, the ATC must conduct fresh hearings on 150 accused individuals’ bail petitions, including Col (R) Ajmal Sabir and Ziad Khaliq Kayani, whose bail requests were previously rejected.

This ruling marks a significant legal development, as the 26 November cases have been a focal point of legal and political discussions.
