Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari on Wednesday said that no one will be allowed to increase prices of daily commodities during the holy month of Ramzan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a clear message Azma Bokhari said that delivery of “Nigehban Card” at the doorsteps of people will be ensured. 

She further said that distribution of “Naigehban Card” will be completed by March 10, 2026.

Azma Bokhari said that 2,000 people will be provided Iftari under ‘Maryam Kay Mehman” Scheme.

Special Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Salma Butt said that distribution of 7,00.000 “Naibehban Card.

Earlier, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari reiterated that eliminating narcotics from the province remains a top priority of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, emphasizing that shielding students from drugs is a shared duty of society.

During a visit to the headquarters of the Punjab Anti-Narcotics Force, the minister was briefed by Director General Brigadier Mazhar Iqbal on the department’s recent achievements and ongoing crackdown against drug networks.

The session was also attended by Information Secretary Tahir Raza Hamdani and Secretary Excise and Narcotics Masood Mukhtar. Bokhari praised the force’s performance, acknowledging its efforts in combating narcotics-related crimes across the province.
