Intelligence agencies and Karachi police have foiled a terrorist attack and arrested six alleged terrorists Saturday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

SSP West Karachi Fida Hussain Janwari said alleged terrorists were associated with a separatist organization named Baluch Raji Ajohi Sangar (BRAS).

The six accused used to take instructions from the Indian intelligence agency the Research and Intelligence Wing (RAW), he added.

The intelligence agencies and police arrested six alleged terrorists during a joint operation. The accused have been involved in attacks on the forces in Balochistan and attacks on the Pakistan Levies check posts in Balochistan SSP said.

SSP Fida said Indian intelligence agency wants to destabilize Pakistan’s sovereignty.

“RAW was involved in the attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi. The terrorist attackers on the Pakistan Stock Exchange were trained by RAW.”

The SSP said a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the accused terrorists.

“Three Kalashnikovs, five hand grenades, six Awan bombs, 1000 Kalashnikovs bullets and other ammunition has been confiscated from the accused terrorist’s procession.”
