Faisalabad man goes to police against torture of his donkey

A man in Khurrianwala Faisalabad went to a police station on Monday for the registration of a case against torture of his donkey, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

However, despite registration of the case, no action was taken by the police.

Malik Basharat, the man, however, kept wailing and said he had raised the animal like his child. “I have not eaten meal for the last two days,” he said, adding, “My donkey was beaten up with an axe due to which his bone was fractured.”

He said despite the fact that the case had been registered, the police were not taking any action. “I cannot sleep at night. Please provide me justice,” he said with tears in his eyes.
