Gold prices skyrocketing again in Pakistan after increase rates in Int’l market
Pakistani gold market continued a trend of skyrocketing the rates of yellow metals at the beginning of the week on Monday.
The rates of gold in the international market were also increased by US$2 per ounce to US$1,957 per ounce after two days [Saturday and Sunday] closure of the market.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of the 24 karats of pure gold in the Pakistani market increased by Rs1,600 per tola to Rs2,14,800 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of the 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs1.371 and traded at Rs1,84,156 per 10 grams on Monday.
The price of 10 grams of gold of 22 karats on Monday traded in the local market at Rs1,68,810 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, the price of pure silver of 24 karats did not change and traded at Rs2,650 per tola in the Pakistani market while the price of 10 grams of silver traded at Rs2,271.94.
