Mawra Hocane shares throwback from graduation sleepover
Actress Mawra Hocane took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she shared a precious throwback picture from a post-graduation sleepover.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Mawra revealed that the picture was recently sent by a close friend, sparking a flood of emotions.
“My heart was so full,” she wrote, reflecting on the special moment that marked the culmination of her academic journey.
The star shared that the milestone felt collective, saying, “It wasn’t just a dream fulfilled; it felt as if all of my friends graduated this day too, again.”
She holds a law degree from the University of London and has training in fashion design.
Mawra Hocane began her career as a television jockey and made her acting debut in 2011 with Khichari Salsa.
She has appeared in a series of acclaimed Pakistani dramas, such as Aahista Aahista, Mein Bushra, Sammi, Sabaat, and Jafaa.
In 2016, Mawra made her Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam, which brought her cross-border recognition.
A vocal advocate for women's education and empowerment, Mawra has also ventured into modelling and launched a clothing line with her sister Urwa, embodying a blend of creativity and intellect.
In February 2025, she married fellow actor Ameer Gilani, whom she met on the set of Sabaat.
