Two shot dead at their house in Karachi

Two persons breathed their last and one seriously injured after receiving bullet wounds during a firing incident at a house in Karachi due to an old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The incident occurred near Umar Bin Khatab Masjid located in Baldia Ittehad Town of Karachi.

Later, the dead persons were identified as Atiqur Rehman, who was 25-year-old, and Saifur Rehman while the injured was named as Sana Gul 25.

Soon after the incident, Edhi Ambulance team reached the spot and shifted the injured person to Civil Hospital Trauma Center.

Further investigation was under way.

Earlier on June 2, 2025, a young man was killed in alleged firing by Customs officials near the Boat Basin signal in Karachi

According to the police, the incident occurred when customs officials attempted to stop a vehicle loaded with Iranian powdered milk. When the vehicle did not stop, the officials opened fire. 

As a result, 28-year-old Ehsan was killed on the spot, while another young man in the vehicle remained unharmed.
