Says public will not be left in the lurch

Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday visited Dera Ghazi Khan to review arrangements to cope with corona challenge and a quarantine centre established to screen pilgrims returned from Iran.
The premier presided over a meeting at Dera Ghazi Khan to review campaign against corona pandemic.
He was briefed by pilgrims screening, residence, food, and drinking facilities at the Command and Control Room in Dera Ghazi Khan.
During his visit to the quarantine, he pledged to provide them all-out support.
The pilgrims expressed satisfaction over the facilities being provided to them. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and NDMA Chairman also accompanied the prime minister.
The PM directed public be updated about the situation and measures to get over crisis.
He issued directives to conduct screening of labourers at shelter homes besides ensuring basic facilities. public safety is top priority, he said.
He ordered his team to make sure supply to utility stuff from markets so that no one could dare hoarding. He ordered the chief secretary and IGP to punish profiteers.
