Four brothers slaughtered their married sister and a relative for honour and escaped the scene, police said on Thursday.

According to details, Mukhtar visited the residence of a married relative woman Dur Bibi residing in Mangopir area of Karachi. When brothers of the woman came to known about visit of their relative to sister’s home, they reached there.

Mukhtar tried to flee from scene but four brothers held and butchered him with sharp edged knife. The culprits later slaughter their sister Dur Bibi and escaped the scene.

The bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the four brothers involved in dual murder started raids for their arrest.

It should be mentioned that husband of the woman was present in Saudi Arabia to earn livelihood for family.
