PM, FM commend services of outgoing ISI chief

Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed on Thursday paid separate farewell calls on Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In their farewell meetings, both the PM and FM appreciated the efforts and services of Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed as DG ISI for the country.
They also expressed their best wishes for Lt Gen Faiz Hameed on his new assignment as the Commander of Peshawar Corps.
Earlier on Wednesday, incumbent Lt Gen Hameed also met President Dr Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr, who lauded his efforts and services as the ISI DG for the security of the country.
It may be mentioned here that Lt-Gen Nadeem Anjum is replacing Lt Gen Hameed as the new chief of the ISI who will take his office on November 20.
