Two people died in a traffic accident that occurred in the Sherakot area of Lahore on Monday when two cars collided with each other, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A three-year-old kid and two other persons were also injured in the accident.

Police teams reached the accident site and launched further investigation. Police also shifted the dead bodies to the hospital.

Separately, a high-speed passenger van plunged into a ditch near Islamabad Motorway Sangjani Toll Plaza injuring seven passengers.

National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) swiftly reached the accident site and rescued the injured passengers,

Motorway Police said that all injured were now out of danger.
