Former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Tuesday that the bravery and the sacrifices given by the ‘martyrs’ of the party was matchless, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his message on the occasion of 15th anniversary of twin suicide attacks on the homecoming rally of slain prime minister Benazir Bhutto (BB) at Karsaz, Karachi on October 18, 2022, he said it was on account of the sacrifices given by late BB and thousands of other martyrs of the PPP that there was democracy in the country.

Foreign Minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, too, in his message, paid glowing tributes to those PPP workers who lost their lives in the incident of terrorism on that ill-fated day.

He vowed that the PPP would continue to struggle for strengthening democracy in the country.

As many as 150 people, mainly PPP workers and some media men, had lost their lives while close to 400 others were injured when two suicide bombers exploded themselves at Karsaz, Karachi at a time when BB’s caravan was passing through the area.
