The Grand Health Alliance wrote a letter to Supreme Court Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmad Khan against Special Assistant to PM on Health Dr Zafar Mirza and Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid.
In the letter, the alliance alleged that both Dr Mirza and Dr Yasmin Rashid deceived the Supreme Court and public regarding government performance to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country. The GHA said that both the high-ups submitted a fake report in the apex court on protective gear, isolation wards, isolation washrooms, sterilisers, testing kits and screening.

All the hospital staff is not equipped with protective gear. Under which law, DRAP employees are given three-month salaries.”
On April 13, Supreme Court Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmad warned the court could order the removal of Adviser to PM on National Health Dr Zafar Mirza as his performance was dissatisfactory. During the suo moto hearing on virus situation in the country, he said that the government team did not answer even a single question of the court about the coronavirus and merely presented the statistics.
