Grandmother of a 12-year-old girl has moved police against her mother after learning that she has been forced into prostitution by her mother and she has become pregnant. 

The minor girl’s grandmother has submitted an application to Lahore’s Johar Town police against her mother who allegedly forced her daughter into sex trade after her father’s death. 

According to the victim girl, a resident of Lahore’s Hanjarwal neighbourhood, her mother forced her into sex trade after her father’s death and then she married another man. The girl said that she had been visiting the Johar Town Police Station for two days, but police were not listening to her.
