All set to elect Shaukat Tarin as senator tomorrow

The election for the Senate seat vacated by Ayub Afridi from Peshawar will be held tomorrow, reported 24 News HD TV Channel on Sunday.
Finance Advisor Shaukat Tarin will be the candidate of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the general seat of the Senate from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The opposition party in parliament, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has fielded a candidate Arbab Zahir Shah to contest the seat against the ruling party’s candidate.
A polling station has been set up inside the Provincial Assembly building for the senate election. Polling will continue tomorrow from 9 am to 4 pm.
The Provincial Election Commissioner will serve as the Presiding Officer. The number of Electoral College for election is 145 which consists of members of the Provincial Assembly
