Ishaq Dar vows to strengthen IT exports and foreign exchange

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has vowed to continue playing an active role in promoting Pakistan’s IT industry internationally, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad today focused on enhancing IT exports and increasing foreign exchange earnings.

During the session, officials from the Ministry of IT provided detailed briefings on strategies to expand Pakistan’s IT exports at the global level.

The Deputy Prime Minister described IT as a key industry for the future, highlighting the importance of making IT and related sectors a pillar of the national economy.

He stressed that boosting IT exports is critical for both economic growth and foreign exchange generation.

The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for IT, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and senior officials from relevant departments.

Participants discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s competitiveness in global IT markets and further strengthening the country’s position as an emerging hub for technology and digital services.
