Two low intensity explosion reported on railway lines near Quetta and Sibi

Railway tracks in Quetta and Sibi were damaged following two low-intensity separate explosions, causing the temporary suspension of train services, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

 According to railway officials, one blast occurred between Sibi and Mashkaf, while the second took place in the Saryab area of Quetta.

The explosions caused significant damage to the railway lines, prompting authorities to cancel the Jafar Express bound for Peshawar and the Bolan Mail heading to Karachi.

Railway officials confirmed that repair work on the damaged tracks has been completed.

Railway authorities further stated that the Jafar Express will resume its normal schedule from tomorrow.

Officials did not immediately report any casualties, and investigations into the cause and perpetrators of the blasts are ongoing.

The railway administration has assured enhanced security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
