Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed grave concerns over the safety of its founder chairman Imran Khan and his wife, Ms. Bushra Bibi during their detention, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PTI’s core committee meeting held on Monday also shed light on Ms. Bushra Bibi's alleged detainment in Bani Gala against her will.

The party vehemently condemned the alleged provision of inadequate and unsafe sustenance to Bushra Bibi.

Furthermore, PTI criticised her continued detention in Bani Gala, contrary to her request for relocation to a proper prison facility.

During the core committee meeting, a call was made for the restoration of fundamental rights for all incarcerated leaders and political activists of PTI, emphasising the importance of treating them in accordance with the law.

PTI also voiced strong condemnation regarding recent cases of forced disappearances targeting the party's candidates for national and provincial assembly seats.

Notable instances involving Brigadier (retd) Aslam Ghaman and Ahmar Rashid Bhatti were cited, with the party alleging coercive tactics to force their departure from PTI.

Furthermore, PTI called for the immediate removal and strict accountability of Chief Secretaries and Inspector Generals of Punjab and Sindh.

The core committee also expressed full support for the political cooperation established among Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen, Sunni Etihad Council, and PTI.

The meeting also assured backing for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Balochistan, urging the prompt release of election results for National and Provincial Assembly seats in accordance with Form 45.

PTI core committee also demanded for a judicial investigation of the confessional statement of Commissioner Rawalpindi, in which he has made serious allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner and the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Emphasising the party's increased influence within the Federation of Pakistan following the February 8 elections, the committee issued a stern warning against any attempts to undermine its electoral mandate, cautioning that such actions could fracture national cohesion and weaken the federation.
