Inzamam denies any PCB approach for chief selector or coach slots

Former Captain of Pakistan cricket team Inzamam-ul-Haq Thursday stated that he was not contacted for the chief selector and he will definitely consider whenever he got offer the coach or the chief selector job, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Inzamam-ul-haq, while said that a player’s performance is affected whenever he is under pressure. Babar Azam’s performance was excellent in all three formats of the game.

He is not under pressure but the skill of captaincy is learnt with time. He said that in his opinion, Babar should be given another chance at captaincy if he is expected to be a good captain.

Stating his take on coaching, he said that international coaches are not the only solution for the issues of the Pakistani team as there are great Pakistani coaches as well. What should be observed and seen is which coach can better the team. He said that Mickey Arthur aced his skills in his time but our local coaches Saqlain Mushtaq and Mohammad Yousaf are also great at coaching.

Haq said that Pakistan has always been positive when it comes to sports. India or Afghanistan, Cricket should be played with them. Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches should be held in all cities of Pakistan including Peshawar, only then will the international teams be willing to play at different venues in Pakistan.
