Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Thursday while talking exclusively to 24NewsHD TV channel that he stood by all the policies of the government.

To a question about whether he is forming a new party, the former premier said: “Yes! I am joining a TV channel.”

To another question about whether he has differences with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that he did not have any differences with anyone.

“Do you want to be the prime minister?” the reporter of 24NewsHD TV channel put another question to the former premier.

“No, I do not want to become the prime minister. I am fine whatever the condition I am in,” he replied.

“Do you stand with Mian Nawaz Sharif’s policies?”

“I am with all the policies of the government. I am not part of the government.”

“Why is your stance not being heard in the party?”

“There is a difference between those who have served in jail and those who give point of view.”
