Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif while paying glowing tributes to Kashmiris stated that world must know that Kashmiris have suffered more than any other people for demanding UN-sanctioned right to self-determination.

In a tweet on Sunday, Shehbaz said, “As we pay rich tributes to Kashmiris for their unwavering commitment to Pakistan on the anniversary of 'Youm-e-ilhaq-e-Pakistan the world must know that no other people have suffered as much as Kashmiris have for demanding their UN-sanctioned right to self-determination,” the PML-N president said.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ& K) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad Sunday on the eve of the 'Youm-e-ilhaq-e-Pakistan' reiterated Kashmiris right to self-determination and plebiscite as per the United Nations resolutions.

Raja Farooq Haider has said that July 19 is the day of revolution because the resolution of accession to Pakistan on July 19 was the base of the independence movement in occupied Kashmir.

“Yes! My vote is for Pakistan. I am not ashamed of my heartfelt relationship with Pakistan,” Raja Farooq Haider said that.

AJK Prime Minister reiterated that resolving the Kashmir issue in the subcontinent will bring peace and once the Kashmir issue is resolved, this region will develop. He said people of Jammu and Laddakh must maintain their Kashmiri identity.
