CM Maryam announces 10 lakh aid for flood victim families in Chakwal

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Chakwal district on Saturday to express condolences with flood and cloud burst victims, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

During meeting with the victim families, CM Maryam announced compensation of one million to each victim family. While chairing a high-level meeting at DC Office Chakawal, CM directed the restoration of all communication bridges besides construction of a steel bridge on Jhelum Road. During the meeting, MPA Sultan Haider told the CM that his constituency was hit hard by recent monsoon rains therefore he requested the CM to compensate the people of the area in priority basis. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the concerned authorities to estimates the losses and compensate the people.
