  Multan Sultans beat Lahore Qalandars

Multan Sultans registered a thumping 80-run win against Lahore Qalandars in the 28th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

Multan Sultans set 170-run target after Lahore Qalandars decided to bowl first. On the first ball of the match, Shaheen Shah Afridi took the wicket of Masood, giving a golden start to the Qalandars. However Sultans kept the scoreboard ticking.

Right-handed batsman Sohaib Maqsood scored 60 off 40 balls with three fours and four sixes.Sohail Tanvir who played a handy cameo at the backend of the innings of 26 off nine balls. For Lahore, Shaheen Shah Afridi registered figures of three for 23 in four overs.

The Multan Sultans restricted Lahore Qalandars to 52 for the loss of four wickets after 10 overs

Imran Khan gave the Multan Sultans the first breakthrough as he got the wicket of Ben Dunk in the second over, while Shahnawaz Dhani took the wicket of Fakhar Zaman (13). 

Muzarabani picked the third wicket by dismissing Mohammad Hafeez for 14 runs while Imran Tahir got the wicket of Qalandars' skipper Sohail Akhtar (5) after Mohammad Rizwan stumped him.

Muzarabani took his second wicket in the 10th over when he dismissed Agha Salman (13) and Imran Khan crushed the hope of Qalandars as he bowled Tim David (10) in the 13th over — right after the delivery when he had appealed for lbw.

In the second ball of the 14th over, Dhani dismissed James Faulkner for 22 and in the last ball of the same over, he got the wicket of Rashid Khan.
