Ruling out the possibility of the formation of a forward bloc in the National Assembly as well as the Punjab Assembly, ‘estranged’ Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen said on Wednesday that he and other members of his group were part of the PTI, and would remain so, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media outside the Judicial Complex in Lahore, Jahangir Tareen said he had never shied away from appearing in courts.

He claimed that he had given a complete money trail to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in his cases. “There is no mention of the word ‘sugar’ in the three FIRs registered against me,” he further claimed.

He added his lawyers had a detailed discussion with Barrister Ali Zafar, and hopefully he would come up with a report on his cases soon.

Calling Prime Minister Imran Khan the man who believed in justice, Tareen hoped that justice would be done to him in his cases too.

Dispelling the impression that the formation of his group within the PTI was a new development, Tareen said there were groups in every political party.

The ‘estranged’ PTI leader accused the Punjab government of victimizing him.
