Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has called upon the state organs to refrain former premier Imran Khan from 'doing wrong', the 24NewsHD TV channel reported Thursday.

“Imran Khan is a fitnah.  All the state organs must stop him from keeping on his notorious anti-state acts,” she insisted while addressing a public rally in Sargodha.

The daughter of ex-premier Nawaz Sharif said the people of Pakistan love Nawaz Sharif for his 40-year public service. She said as she got in the Sargodha limits she was welcomed warmly.

She claimed Nawaz Sharif came into power in 2013 and the country was facing 22-hour load-shedding and terror strikes were a routine. Nawaz Sharif got rid of terrorism and load-shedding in three years, she recalled, adding that Imran Khan was made PM and in just four years, he brought the state to the verge.

The power crisis returned and state writ has been challenged in the four-year term of this selected PM, she said, adding that this person has been asking the Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government to show its four-week performance.

She questioned how the government can rise in four weeks from the ruins of the four-year rule of Imran.

She made a request to the top court to take sou moto notices of Shehzad Akbar’s wrongdoings like using NAB and FIA for persecution.

The Supreme Court (SC) should take notice of Bashir Memon’s allegations, she requested, adding that a notice of seven-year delay in foreign funding cases against PTI be taken.

Imran Khan has been campaigning against all the media houses except one that has been promoting him in return for financial favor of millions of rupees, she maintained.

Imran Khan has a history of stabbing in the back of his well-wishers, claimed Maryam, adding that the ex-premier has been criticizing the government in his speeches to hoodwink his pathetic public service.  The PML-N VP has been on a mass contact campaign for a few weeks to expose the former rulers.  She alleged PTI leaders hurl abuses and threats at those who ask questions from them while Imran Khan wants everyone to believe in his lies and stop questioning his corruption.

The PML-N leader said they (PTI leaders) want questions of their choice and answers of their choice. Imran Khan wants the match, umpire, and players of his choice where decisions take place according to his wish while Imran Khan wants the judge, lawyer, and verdict of his choice.

“If the election commission asks questions from him, he first runs from those questions for eight years and then accuses the election commission and threatens to besiege it,” she lambasted. She also castigated Imran Khan for putting political opponents on death row and violating the sanctity of the house.
