Asif Raza Mir opens up about Sajal and Ahad's divorce
Asif Raza Mir appeared as a guest on the YouTube show 'Gloss Etc' by Maliha Rehman, where he spoke about working with Sajal Aly in ‘Main Manto Nahi Hoon’ after her divorce from Ahad Raza Mir.
During the conversation with the host, Asif Raza Mir shared that despite the circumstances, the two handled the project with maturity and professionalism.
He said that there were questions when the casting was done for the show, but it was a growing opportunity for him and for Sajal too, so they showed professionalism and accepted the project.
He also said that after Sajal and Ahad's divorce, fans and the public got saddened, but such things are part of life and can happen for many reasons.
Asif Raza Mir is playing Sajal Aly’s father in Main Manto Nahin Hoon. He added that Sajal has also shown courage when she worked with him.
Asif Raza Mir also commented on the recently viral videos from a Hum event where Ahad and Sajal were spotted together.
The actor said that his family is mature enough not to watch such things, and that does not bother them.
He shared that he has been in the business for decades, and he understands that people will talk about that former relationship. What everyone needs to learn is to move forward.
