Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led Sindh government which all-out apologised PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif on her husband’s arrest in Karachi, took a 180-degree different stance in the court of law amid bail hearing of Captain (retd) Safdar Awan.
Surprisingly, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on one side apologised to PML-N leadership for such mishaps and embarrassment, while, on the other hand, Sindh Prosecutor (Sindh government lawyer) fully endorsed the Investigation Officer stance on Captain (retd) Safdar’s arrest.
Sindh prosecutor argued against the bail granting of the court to accused PML-N leader Captain (retd) Safdar Awan, involved in raising slogans violating the sanctity of the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
However, the court put aside his arguments and granted bail to Safdar against the surety bonds of Rs100000.
