Atif Aslam croons Farhad Hamayun’s Nimmi Nimmi

The death of the drummer and founder of the Pakistani band Overload, Farhad Hamayun has left a void that can never be filled.
From the timeless Mela Kariye (the song featured Meesha Shafi) to Lahore, Farhad and Overload songs constitute an integral part of the Pakistani rock scenario. As a tribute to the late star, singer Atif Aslam recently presented a soul-stirring rendition of Farhad's 2014 song Nimmi Nimmi.
In the recent video, Jalpari singer can be seen performing the iconic number of Farhad and Overload in his own style, leaving the audience mesmerised.

Farhad Hamayun was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2018. Following the next month, the late singer and drummer announced his full recovery after the tumour was removed successfully. The singer passed away at 42 on 8 June 2021.
Farhad has a number of iconic songs to his credit including Ankahi.
