Karachi Airport cancels five flights citing technical faults

As many as three domestic and two international flights failed to take off from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi, due to various operational and technical faults, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
A Gulf Air flight, GF-753, which was scheduled to land in Bahrain from Karachi, was cancelled.
An Emirates Air flight, EK-609, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi for Dubai.
An Air Sial flight, PF-125, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA), Islamabad, from Karachi.
Another Air Sial flight, PF-143, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore from Karachi.
An Air Sial flight, PF-143, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi to Sialkot.
