Sunni Ittehad Council’s PM candidate Omar Ayub has thanked PTI founder Imran Khan for nominating him.

“Although I have no blood relation with Imran Khan, he trusted me,” he said while talking to the 24 NewsHD TV channel.

"There will be a thought contest tomorrow," the PM candidate said.

He added: “We have overcome our weakness. We are stronger now.

“We will continue raising voices for our missing party members and legal battle will continue.

“There are murder and robbery cases against us.  We will continue our struggle against oppression,” said Omar, who is too on bail.

About the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party President Mehmood Khan Achakzai’s nomination, Omar said Mehmood Khan Achakzai is a Pakistani and Imran Khan approved his nomination.

Achakzai, a prominent political figure, is known for his advocacy for Pashtun rights.

He stressed: “We will give such a tough time to the government that they will be forced to sit with us.

“This is a trailer, the feature film is yet to come.

“The nomination of the opposition leader has not been finalized so far yet”
