Brooklyn Beckham joins Nicola Peltz on Pretty Ugly sets

Brooklyn Beckham has once again shown his unwavering support for his wife, Nicola Peltz, as he joined her on the set of her latest project, Pretty Ugly.

The couple’s vow renewal ceremony recently made headlines after none of Brooklyn’s famous family members attended, fueling speculation about a growing rift with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

Fans are drawing parallels between their family drama and the role Nicola is set to play in her new film.

Directed by Erica Dunton, Pretty Ugly is a psychological thriller set in Winnabow, North Carolina. Nicola stars as Roxy, a provocative make-up influencer whose return from Los Angeles disrupts the fragile bond between a mother and daughter, played by 90s screen icon Mary Stuart Masterson and rising actress Jazzy De Lisser.

The story takes a darker turn as the trio are drawn into a murder investigation, forcing them to confront not only their relationships but also the meaning of the American Dream.

Nicola has been sharing glimpses from the set with her 3 million Instagram followers. In one post, she appeared in a dramatic pool scene wearing a black bikini, while another shot captured Brooklyn leaning in to kiss her cheek as she took a break from filming. Captioning one of her photos, Nicola wrote: “I love you Jazzy – PRETTY UGLY – I’m so grateful to be able to have played Roxy.”

Brooklyn’s presence on set won’t come as a surprise to fans who have followed his increasingly close relationship with the Peltz family. None of the Beckhams attended his and Nicola’s vow renewal earlier this month, an extravagant event held at her billionaire father Nelson Peltz’s Westchester estate.

In his speech, Brooklyn reportedly gave a heartfelt tribute to Nicola’s parents for their constant support, a gesture that many saw as a snub to his own family.

Industry insiders have noted that Nicola’s role as an influencer in Pretty Ugly mirrors elements of her real life, where she is often in the spotlight and subject to intense media scrutiny.

The actress has previously been accused of “isolating” Brooklyn from both his family and his UK circle of friends. Brooklyn, however, has defended his wife, with sources close to the couple saying he feels heartbroken by the way Nicola has been portrayed in the press.
